I find it very interesting how well this works as a cutesy kids story. Someone who had never heard of the mythos would just think it was odd, but not real odd, considering all the actual kids shows that are on TV (Spongebob and whatnot). Same horrible cosmic evils, but with gloss, fun music and a peppy narrator... It is kind of cute, isn't it?

This surely tells us something about psychology...

Don't fear unnamed terrors, kids. Evil is just a different kind of cute. Now get your Cthulu cereal.
