Post apocalyptic audio drama podcast

Post by finalrune » Wed Nov 28, 2012 4:27 am

Hey all,

OK, I posted about this last March when the show first came out, but there is a LOT more to listen to now.

The show is The Cleansed - a free post apocalyptic audio drama set in a world after oil runs out. There are man-eating pigs, survivalists cruising around on home-brew biodiesel, gun-toting religious zealots and more dangers in this strange land.

Our first season has just been picked up by Blackstone Audiobooks and will be available worldwide, wheee!

but you can also hear it all for free:

Happy listening,

I've been listening to this series, and quite enjoying it. Good work Fred! And congratulations on being picked up by Blackstone!

And yes, the pigs were kinda disturbing.

Almost done with Season 1 and gotta say I'm loving it. Extraordinarily well produced.
Not at all for the faint of heart but of course, neither is the post-apocalypse.
But ya.
This is easily the best produced "Audio Drama" series I've heard on the web or anywhere else. Completely engaging.

So it's set in the South?
(We got man-eating pigs, too. See Hogzilla.)

@Strawman - actually! It's set in Maine... heh. We have freaks and pigs and whatnot here, too. I'm too frightened to imagine what would happen in the South during the end of days.
