That's
two demerits!

That make me laugh, ASID. Nicely done.

this Reddit thread where they're writing 2-sentence horror stories? Some of them are brilliant. They need to cram them into a 100 word/character mold and get with the program over here!
This is the some thread which spawned the podcast? That podcast is up against the DC in the Parsecs.

For the record, I do not and have never had a Reddit account! A friend sent it to me.
Are Drabblecast Demerits something collectible? For Drabblescouts? Is someone going to mail me one?

Sure, you can buy 'em at $5.50 per box, plus postage. Checks payable to "ASiD".
But be careful, mocking the demerit system can get you placed on
Double Secret Probation at your nearest school and/or Moose lodge.

He said, "You'll join the club,"
and I was, at first, flattered.
But then he swung a mace at me;
he aimed to see me battered!

Mind you, moose bites can be nasty.

Fortunately, I know exactly where to stick these (de)merit badges. Might as well brag about my Macaroni Craft skills while I'm at it... now where's that signature page...

They say, "Write about what you know." So she heeded the advice, and had an excellent career writing rejection notices.

Good one.

But we all know that that submissions editor is just lovingly concerned about her reader's tender eyeballs.

Whew. My awesome collection of rejection slips (or as I like to think of them, Proof-That-Someone-Read-My-Stories Slips) is safe from prying eyes.

No trespassing, the screen warned. He hacked in anyway. The first email released the killer B's. He's not laughing now.

I woke to see a dead girl at the foot of my bed. I stare, horrified, and wish that I had forwarded that chain email last week.

No, that girl was put there as a warning for even
thinking about spamming a chain email.
Welcome aboard, candle_swan!

A fulginous ocean crashed upon the ashen shore of bones as seagulls wheeled overhead. And here I am without alka seltzer

Ah, but you can crush up the bones and, using a little sea salt, make various bicarbonates -- the key ingredients for that product.
Grammar Nazi notes: fuliginous is mispellerized; proper name not treated properly; poor "punctuality" at the end.
