Oh goddess, there's a little yellow man following me everywhere I go!

Now you have me wondering. If the statue of liberty truly came from France then why doesn't she have shaven underarms.

She stood high over the water

Yep. But it's appropriately ironic, considering the bloodbath of Liberte, Egalite, Fraternite that produced the statue as a gift. Always, one man's hero is another's tyrant.

"Turn on the machine!" Professor Nead shouted. Klaxons blared as I slammed my hand on the button. Then the sun went dark.

I open the book and begin chanting in an arcane dialect. The pieces click together and my Barbie army marches to victory.

War breaks down Reason's front door. "Time for nuclear arms!" War says. Reason looks down at his broken door,"Hell no."

"Wankah," Steve shouted as he banged on his computer, "Where did that noob go?" He heard chuckling, "Right behind you."

Cognition 30%, did the bomb kill anyone? Cognition 20%, where am I? Cognition 10%, who am I? Cognition 01%, I want bacon.

"Pick a card, any card," The magician cried. I drew one of the fifty two he held. I looked at it and smiled. I drew The Death.

There are times when I just want to stand in the light, feel the warmth of the sun on my face. oh, the curse of being a shadow.

Hmmm. I thought the curse of the shadow would be all of those unsavory types skulking about in your heart.

This sounds pretty similar to a transgender dilemma. Where does this desire come from, to be other than what we are? Not just different from, but OTHER than...Does matter ever wish it were antimatter? You have made me wonder.

Thanks, CarlC

Trust me when I say that is a pretty apt comparison. The wish to feel the warmth of the sun just once, to touch the burning root of your desire a single time before death. It's a bittersweet state of juxtaposition.
