LOL!!! That's why you have to get one of those fuzzy, absorbent toilet seat covers. You just thought they were decorative, didn't you?

She complained about toilet-seats, garbage, and affection.
I told the b*tch to just shut-up and deal with my erection.

He cheated, lied, and he tried to rape me.
Now he runs terrified, but he can't escape me.
My claws will "part" him in death.

Hmmm. One more reason why you should never have a lawyer read his contract aloud unless you are also scanning the text.

I threw my anti-psychotic meds in the trash. Turns out the doctor who gave me the prescription was just a hallucination.

A variant of this already made it onto my Facebook account, so it might not be suitable for the 'cast. :)

I thrilled at the look of love in your eyes.
That is, until I realized that the love was not for me, but for blood sacrifice.

Sorry Mr. Shakespeare, but only a finite quantity of monkeys was available; the best we could do was this lousy twabble.

I like it. Of course it still took the finite number of monkeys an infinite amount of time to produce the twabble... So it either doesn't really exist or it tunneled in from the future? :?

If it took an infinite amount of time, surely we would still be waiting?

A poetic twabble. Nothing to do with 'til death do us part', I'm afraid, but nevertheless-

A monster lives under my bed.
And every night I pray,
that it will just lumber away.
And in the morning I won't wake up dead.

I'm a saline-cocktail-biotech wiz. Til death do us part, honey. Did you think it'd be that easy? Beep-beep. Beep-beep.

The idea of night prayer going back to childhood is interesting to think about.
You teach a kid a prayer like that , which embodies the kids fears: "Okay, son, you're gonna close your eyes, and next thing you know, you're going to be in dreamland, see? I'm gonna turn the lights off so you can sleep, and say a prayer for you to have a nice dream; that's because sometimes, for no reason, you will be chased by monsters and think you're going to die. We can't really control that. But don't let that worry you..."

Well, I edited the poem a little bit before you wrote your response, but yeah, still the same idea. :)

Did you ever read 'On a Pale Horse' by Piers Anthony? There's a scene in that book that always stuck with me, where Death has to comfort a little girl who is terrified by the line in the prayer, 'if I die before I wake, I pray my soul the lord to take'. He ends up promising her that if he ever has to come collect her, he'll wake her up first.

My wedding band cut into my finger and I immediately became sick from the toxin. "I do," I slurred and she started eating.
