Periods
Very clever. It sounds exactly like the sort of thing Stephen Fry would say at the end of QI.Algernon Sydney is Dead wrote:If instead of periods, women had apostrophes...

Yeah, we've all run in to bad controllers. Funny how they seem to treat the fighter jocks better... "You gave me a long holding pattern. That's the problem with helping criminals be purged of evil. One crook found God two years ago. Won't tell us where he is.

Mr Sherman
Is it just me or does anybody else write their twabbles in the voice of Norm Sherman. Please just admit it and don't be shy.

Exercising always wore Jim out, and his age wasn’t making it any easier, but even worse this was an “ill tempered” demon!

The first one being that's a good name for a landscaping business which brings goats instead of mowers; and while the goats ate, the crew would play Pirate! in the woods.

"This is great!" I said. "I’m glad," she smiled, "Transmutation potion shouldn’t have to taste bad." "Woof!" I agreed.
I've been meaning to stop in and try my hand at this for ages. This particular one came to me on the way to work this morning, probably because I was watching American Horror Story: Coven before bed last night. But now I'm worried "transmutation" isn't the right word.
Now that I'm finally registered here, I'm excited to read everybody else's Twabbles.

Well, I finally stopped resisting the fact that Norm has shows other than the one we work on together (EscapePod) and started listening to DrabbleCast a couple months ago. Every time the Drabbles and Twabbles come up I think "I really need to do that" and then I come up with a good one in the car and forget it by the time I get to work. This one survived the 20 minute commute. More to follow, as my aging man's memory allows.

Re: A Mother's Plea
Yes, this is true, but only if the 'blue twins' are actually on the round about at time. This would also be true if the 'blue twins' used the classic 'grab a handle and run like poop' technique, but then you run into all those Einsteinian increases in mass annoyances.Algernon Sydney is Dead wrote:Well then, they'd only be half blue (and gamma rays!MadeintheDark wrote:"My twins are normal. BTW, the line is from a kid's short story I am writing about adopted blue twins who like to round-about their friends into the future

Ahh, yes DrabbleCast yet another old fart Systems Engineer who, upon reviewing his life, believes he should have skipped MIT and just become a writer

Oh well, at the moment I am just enjoying figuring out where the comma should go.

And welcome to the neighborhood - nice to see other Escapepodeans outside of the rowing-galleys.
