"Killing Time"

Tempus Mortis had never in his life got so much done in such an efficient manner as he had since taking that job with Zynga.

Hitler nearly managed it

"Four and a Half Years (of Struggle) Against Lies, Stupidity and Cowardice" yet he still managed to get it all very wrong

("Four and a Half Years..." was apparently his preferred title for Mein Kampf)

Alonzo struggled for years against lies, idiocy, and corruption. His revolution failed but Alonzo graduated anyway.

Not bad, but it's confusing due to the missing punctuation.
Perhaps?...

If I may be so bold Mr. Sydney... An excellent fix to the last entry.

The masked Punctuator struck again, drawing forth periods and commas for the needy from his mystical enchanted colon.
The alien horde had finally halted. Our sonic weapons had worked. Their battle cry was no more. "Yep yep yep yep, uh huh!"

The Munsi-signal shines above the skyline, but I'm tired. I was up all night playing Left 4 Dead 2. The city's on it's own.

My boy, that's not the "Munsi-signal", it's the sun, as I suspect your human foster mother has told you many times. :D
