Post your Adult, Political or Religious Twabbles here!
Hey folks, here is the place to post your Twabbles that may be offensive to some lilly-faced weaklings. This can include Adult content, Political, or Religious Twabbles. Anything which is guaranteed to offend and make people think!
Sissy Twabbles about unicorns and such stuff should be posted on the sister thread. http://drabblecast.freeforums.org/post- ... t1053.html
The Drabblecast will publish the best shortest of short stories on its Twitter Feed. http://twitter.com/TheDrabblecast

I propose:
- That offense-taken and/or counter arguments (or attacks) be limited to twabble form.
- General reviews would have to scrupulously avoid personal attacks and, if inflammatory or angry, be clearly couched as mere personal opinion.

I don't see the difference between what you call someone in Twabble form or not Twabble form. Personal attacks are personal attacks.
But I think that if you want to have an argument in the form of Twabbles, this is the place to have it!

The idea is sort of like rap wars** or "smack downs".tbaker2500 wrote:I don't see the difference between what you call someone in Twabble form or not Twabble form. Personal attacks are personal attacks.
- Twabble based insults are (usually) not taken as literally or personally. Poetic license is allowed.
- It takes more skill and time to compose a twabble. This should reduce the qty of vitriol and give the author more time to reflect before posting.
Anyone who just mashes a standard flame into 100 chars, without regard to spelling, grammar or the twabble art, would instantly lose credibility and "righteous points(TM)".
** Except, now that I think about it, didn't those involve a lot of real-world murders?

The "House" of God...
God stared through the stained glass window, longing for the half-remembered times before these prisons had existed.

I agree, one helluva opening Twabble! "Let the games begin", so to speak.

Obligatory "Adult" twabble
Susana pumped rapidly, eager for the tangy fluid's release.
At last, it spurted in a fine mist. Nothing beats olive oil!
PS: This is about one of these.
PPS: These misters require pumping (stroking a plunger) several times, to build up air pressure. (It was suggested that not everyone, outside of Kalifornia, regularly sprays olive oil.

Obligatory "Political" twabble
Mike had been a life-long Republican. But, now he was dead and he'd voted for the Democrat, 8 times in just this election.

I really like this too, and vote for it to be this week's winner.TheJebi wrote:God stared through the stained glass window, longing for the half-remembered times before these prisons had existed.

I think an image of the olive oil mister would work better than the site link.

The Magic Wand
Karl tapped, hard, with his magic wand; trying to make "social justice".
His mom cried, "Why are you bashing the serfs?"
Note, this is a companion twabble to this drabble.

Holy crap! That twabble was administrative, meta, AND blasphemous!normsherman wrote:Good idea making 2 threads! Win/Win, u all rock. Just enough left:

Does that mean my brilliant efforts went unspoken?TheJebi wrote:I just hope that when (notice I don't say if) I win, it's week that Norm does a narration of it.

I imagine that, as long as you don't libel a multi-gazillion dollar corporation, you are safe.

Yeah, no twabble in the last episode.Algernon Sydney is Dead wrote:Does that mean my brilliant efforts went unspoken?TheJebi wrote:I just hope that when (notice I don't say if) I win, it's a week that Norm does a narration of it.
(I have a backlog of Drabblecasts I'm saving for when I'm not actually chained to my computers -- the upcoming X-mas roadtrip will do nicely.)
I imagine that, as long as you don't libel a multi-gazillion dollar corporation, you are safe.
And ASID, how can you just quote part of a guy's twabble like that... all or nothing.
(I'm not sure what you're saying about libeling corporations.)

I quoted the relevant parts to my response. I preserved the context even.TheJebi wrote:ASID, how can you just quote part of a guy's twabble like that...
Is this quote better?
TheJebi wrote:... if...I win, it's ... week(sic)...

My last "winner" said bad things in print about Microsoft -- A company that spends more on lawyers, any given day, than you earn in a year (or ten). Thus, Norm might have "forgot" to read it.(I'm not sure what you're saying about libeling corporations.)
