NZ man convicted of assault with hedgehog

Post by cammoblammo » Fri May 30, 2008 2:24 pm

I'm going to let this story speak for itself. I'm almost embarrassed to admit that I have relatives living in Whakatane. ... 260963.htm

(As a sidenote, the phoneme spelt 'wh' in Maori words is pronounced 'f'. You have to be very careful talking about this place in polite company!)

If you outlaw hedgehogs, only outlaws will have hedgehogs.

Don't feel to bad, I grew up in a small midwestern town, you could substitute "muskrat" or "squirrel" for "hedgehog" in the story and it would be close to stories I've heard.

Ah, but was he really in possession of his buttocks? That sounds like the real crux of the legal battle, here.
