It's never good to hear about the loss of life, but this sent a shiver down my spine of the good variety.

Humboldts are pretty nasty critters. Divers know to keep the hell away from them. They have claws on the suction cups I've heard.

They also strobe colors, hunt in packs, cannibalize, and flip out and start feeding frenzies like sharks. A never ending parade of awesome is the humbolt squid.

I was a little dissapointed after reading 'another squid lurks out of the depths and attacks' that is wasn't attacking the Bear Grills wannabe
