Cammoblammo's favourite animal stories from 2008

Post by cammoblammo » Sun Dec 28, 2008 12:45 pm

Rightio folks. In keeping with everyone else near a computer I've come up with my top ten list of super cool/ugly/freaky/bizarre/drabbleworthy animals and plants. Some may have appeared on these boards, some didnt.

Where possible I've linked to videos showing the suckas in action. I've gone with the titles supplied, so please don't tell me off for braindead titles. Tell me what you think, and if I've missed anything out. Enjoy!

Ten armed cephalopod does the hula
Zombie Turtles from Down Under
Bird-eating spider
Mountains of molluscs---how many oysters does it take to sink a ship?
Herman the Hedgehog Hermaphrodite
Beware the dreaded goonch
Remote controlled ants
New Fish Species Eats And Replaces Your Tongue!
Revenge of the tape worms
Mysterious monkeys murder manatee

Ah, crap. That should've been 'Cammoblammo's favourite internet meme from 2008.'

Sorry about the noise. I'll take it back to 4chan.

Oo, Cammo, tragic news! It looks like all of your links go srtaight to the same really bad music video, not to the videos you were intending!

The really horrible thing is that I'm not 100% sure that that video is a spoof and not an actual 80s music video...

Wholly carp, that is one scary music video!!! I had to stop it before it caused severe decadeitis.

I (foolishly) bought my wife a 5 disc 'Hits of the eighties' set for Christmas. I rickroll'd myself!

I also discovered that music degenerated in the eighties. It started well, but jumped the shark when Mister Mister sang 'Broken Wings.' Great song, but it was all downhill from there.

We needed you in 1987 Norm.

There was good music in the 80s, it just wasn't popular, and can't be found on any Time Life Hits of the 80's collection.

Wait, so that WAS a real video? That wasn't just someone's bad joke?

I don't think so, Tweedy. It appears to be a case of misdirection, IMO. Just when you're thinking cammo, then blammo! He's not a cammo kitten-sniper; he's a blammo stick figure. The Astley lip-sync video was a metaphor for channelling. Trust me, Tweedy. I'm never going to give you up... never gonna let you down. Read between the lines if you can. Either discover the meaning of life or a mysterious monkey manatee massacre.

And on that note, so ends 2008, depending on what time zone you're in, or which side of the date line, Cammo & Co may be a year ahead of us.
Which reminds me, Can you BELIEVE Y2K was 9 years ago? I know some folks who have eaten nothing but dehydrated food in all that time. Waste not, want not.

Happy New Year, one and all.

I just glanced at the titles before opening them all in their own tabs at the same time. I think I've just been deca-Rick Rolled...
