Hybrid Sharks Found off Australia

Post by tbaker2500 » Thu Jan 05, 2012 2:46 am

Apparently sharks are crossbreeding for the first time, making hardier sharks.
The 57 hybrid sharks were found along a stretch of coastline about 1,250 miles long. Mixing the two species would presumably make them stronger, better able to withstand variations in their environment, said Morgan. “You’re seeing evolution in action.”

And they say the news never covers anything positive.

Black Tip to Black Tip though? Yawn. Now when the hammer head and the whale shark start getting together, that's something. Or the bull and the tiger hybrid up, then that critter gets together with a great white / mega-mouth, then we're talking huge, aggressive sharks that can survive in fresh water and have glowing mouths start invading the St. Lawrence - apocal'awesome!

And let's not forget the great Gene Rodenberry. Without his push to show the first intershark kiss in the 60s this would have never happened.

Clearly, news of the MBDM has spread to these waters and the sharks are attempting to breed a worthy competitor for next years bout.

(BTW Tom. Can't you come up with a snazzier/stranger title than "Site Admin" for The Great Nameless One's sake?)

Inspired by the lazertag-gun: How about Buzz Lightyear?

So does Grand Poobah.

FWIW, I say you go for the most ostentatious and self-aggrandizing title possible.
Perhaps a contest (following the MBDM of course) is in order?

No one fears a Grand Poobah though. He may as well go with Cuddlemonkey.

The submissions thread is closed. Which is fortunate for all the beasts involved, as the CuddleMonkey would clearly win it all.

Cuddlemonkey would be way better than Site Admin.

"No, not THAT Tom Baker" is probably too long for a ranking.

Once your average Cuddlefish and your average monkey get frisky.... Cuddlemonkeys start showing up on the scene. Watch out... They're sneaky little devils I hear.
The alien horde had finally halted. Our sonic weapons had worked. Their battle cry was no more. "Yep yep yep yep, uh huh!"

And it's not far from Cuddlemonkey to blind, mute, magnetic love monkeys!

Ah yes... I remember those magnetic love monkeys well. :)
