Did they average it out to 2.5?

Post by bolddeceiver » Tue Sep 15, 2009 2:32 am

Not precisely drabble news, but I just had to share this gem from my local paper's police blotter column.

(Also, hate to say it, but looking for women matching that description in Tacoma would not be like looking for a needle in a haystack. More like looking for a specific stalk of hay in a haystack.)
...the pagoda-like enclosure, where Japanese sand-badgers disported themselves...

Baby, you got to hold out for the last line of the story. It seals it.

May I?
More like looking for a specific stack of hay in a field of haystacks.

I think they must have been way beyond beer. At least in the Bacardi 151 zone, if not Everclear.

These guys called to complain to the cops that the "escorts" they hired stole from them? It reminds of this story I heard locally where a guy called the cops to complain that someone had broken into his house and stolen his stash of pot.

In Oregon that actually happens. Cops sometimes even catch the perpetrators and return the marijuana. When they don't the advice is to put in a homeowners insurance claim and value the loss at $400 an ounce.

If, of course, you have a license.

The trick is, escort services are not technically illegal in and of itself, as they offer so-called "social or conversational services;" the fact that you're really paying for sex is under the table.

Hmm... Seems like the same logic would apply to prostitution in general. "I just paid her to take a ride in my car. The sex was off-the-clock."

No, the really sad part is they had to pay $250 for 15 minutes of conversation. If only they knew about the Drabblecast forum!
