The Drabblecast crew gets "drabbed out" and hits Atlanta, Ga's Dragoncon Science Fiction convention in order to gain insight into which Mega-Beasts might be the hard-hitters this year.

The Vid-Cast is a biggun, but well worth the 400 MB loading time. :-)

You might need to resubscribe or "update" the podcast, as it's been a year since we've put new content on the feed.

Dude, any fan of B&W animals has no choice but to vote for Velasquez. I mean, end of story.

In evaluating which lines would make good film tags based on the corresponding video quotes, this one stuck out:

"Giant spiders never run out of bullets."

In Theaters Summer 2012. Starring Vin Diesel, and Roseanne Bar as Gargantula.

Am I the only one having trouble with the video? I couldn't get it with the direct download or iTunes. Could just be me, but thought I'd ask.

Love the parade, and the guys in the red suits were from V. It was great seeing the DC gang and Eugie.

I'm uploading a more compatible, but slightly lower quality version to the archives.

But Norm, why don't you just upload it to uTube and be done with compatibility problems?

Am I correct in assuming that Monica is the mysterious Norma Sherman?

I don't think so, but maybe... now I'm paranoid...

Where'd Norma go? Was it something I said?

Man, there's no sight so poignant as a Norm dumped by his Norma stalker. We don't even know if Norma drove her hotrod into a fiery wreck. This moment deserves to be immortalized in a 60's Do-wop Bbardle.
Maybe FreeForums will get her to return with a heartfelt autogenerated email reminder. Or better, peeps, if you believe in Norma, clap your hands real loud!

Two theories on Norma.

1) Another one of resident-solipsist Tweedy's sock puppets.
2) A demon(ess) to be mated with.

"That was very insightful...and erotic." - Norm, referring to the above

"Be more capricious!" - Kendall to fairies in parade

"Gonna get some good zoom-ups of some packages here." -Norm, referring to Spartans in the Dcon Parade

"Why does King Arthur have a paintball gun?" -Norm

"The Kingon Empire!.....Raaaappeee!" -Kingon

"Cruxshadows? More like SuxShadows" -Luke

"That would be some amazing sex footage" -Norm, referring to Solar Bear theoretically having sex with beef nachos

"A giant spider never runs out of bullets...you heard this from KISS." - Norm

Neat to see Eugie Foster.
