Yeh, crossed Texas over the last couple days. In New Orleans now, visiting my older sister. And it snowed for like 5 hours. Double You Tea Effe. Nature itself is trying to keep me from switching coasts.

Weird. I grew up just a bit south in the Ithaca/Lansing area.
Dude, I wonder about your timing moving back there in December. It's cold and icky!

Yeh, this is a known issue. I got laid off at the end of November and in LA you bleed money like a stuck pig, so I got gone with considerable haste. A wedding of thriftiness and practicality. Hey, I will be home for the holidays though, that's neat, right?

Ooh, sorry. Isn't everyone in LA-LA laid off half the year? Film vacay or something?

Yes. Enjoy the holiday.
We will send someone to dethaw you from that block of ice around April.

You could try hawking Megabeast t-shirts on Bourbon St while you're there. (You got one with gris-gris crawfish?)

I feel your P.A.I.N.

No really, I live in Winnipeg so, you know, winter is kind of our thing.

Meh. I don't usually put a lot of info into a forum profile, but since I like you guys so much, I'll do it.

It is true I have some familial connection to France, but no, not Quebecois.
Good question though, I didn't think anyone outside Canada cared about the Quebec Cultural Distinction.

None of which is getting me any closer to the impending Hellcat rampage of doom...
