Oh, I see. Maiming them and eating their dismembered body part is so much less cruel than killing them outright. Typical vegetarian thinking. What do you expect from someone who only eats something that's rooted to the ground, can't run away, and has no mouth to scream.strawman wrote: Stone crabs are one of the few crustaceans that a vegetarian can eat, because the claw is harvested and regenerates, (not to mention that they are as delicious as they are costly).

New Theory: God gave legs to the things that taste the best, so that people would eat their vegetables.

The Dreadnaught-ilus. An oversized chambered nautilus capable of achieving buoyancy in air by filling chambers with hydrogen. Armed and armored like the Dreadnought-class battleships of the early 20th century. If that wasn't bad enough, this beast was raised with the rabid imperialist mindset that defined the early 1900 European empires.

Nice one.
You're my quasi-ichthian angel, you're my half-amphibian queen...

If you gave it vampirism or the zombie virus you could further extend the pun by creating the Undeadnaught.tbaker2500 wrote:Nice one.

To add more to my squirrel suggestion:
Have the squirrel suffer from dementia brought on my the ingestion of the lead surrounding the bathroom vents on the roofs of older houses.
True story, I once had to respond to a crazy squirrel who was attacking residents in an older community. It was later determined the squirrel had a lot of lead in its system which, in theory, was causing it to act all crazy.

Mourning Dove
This bird acts as if it has just lost a loved one. Instantly sheepish about something a silly as a deathmatch, the competitors bow their heads and say a prayer for the fallen. At which point the bird rips out the jugular vein.

Re: MBDM 2012 - Feed Us Your Beast Suggestions
I'm feeling these suggestions, keep em coming! A squirrel/nautilus/komodo round, or some other dispersal of that trio, would make a great round. I'm bouncing some homegrown concepts to make room for these fine community submissions!
So I've been looking to incorporate some high profile, new to the MBDM, animal kingdom picks. With the list shared, maybe a particular critter will set one of your imaginations aloft. Gristle for the mill:
snake/cobra
scorpion
wolf/coyote
eagle
jellyfish
chupacabra
rat
gorilla
koala
cheetah
toad
walrus
pig/boar
sloth
butterfly/moth

Wow, that's brilliant. Except I'd think that sloth would be a slow moving penis.themorg wrote:So sadly all my mind could think of was this

To answer Bo's question, however, I think that the Kowalrus Bear has a nice ring to it. Weighing in at over 1000 pounds they'd really get your attention when they dropped from the eucalyptus trees in the outback.

If your voice is deepening, and you're armpits are getting hairy, this is normal, Morg. It's called Puberty.

You're thinking of the Mega Penis Death Match, that's in April. Also, pretty sure you're displaying warning signs of some sort.
If someone was comfortable with looking at that many penises, Morg has brainstormed some useful adjectives. Will any ideas spring forth from those loins?
