Beast 1:
Slaying Mantis
Nature: Praying Mantis
Size: 7'2" (Tall)
Weight: 1 ton
Pray all you will for mercy, you'll find none here. Forelimbs so quick their movement can only be seen via enhanced digital playback. Forelimbs so strong they bend steel. Short distance flight. Ambush-centric attacks. Capable of complete silence and motionlessness. Fond of his own head, with its incredibly sensitive, segmented eyes, and 300 degrees of rotational movement. Also fond of your head, which she plans to eat.

---- - - -- <> -- - - -----

Beast 2:
Sucker-Paunch
Nature: Frog, Leech
Size: 6'2" (Tall) 12' (wingspan)
Weight: 800 lbs
The hideous cross of a t.rex leech and a purple frog. Moist skin, constantly oozing mucus - impossible to grab. Can jump great distances. Has a projectile tongue that snatches up enemies and draws them in to his maw. Swallows opponents whole, keeping them inside his cheeks, digesting and turning their nutrients into offensive capabilities - stomach acid spit, increased strength and size. Jagged, sawing teeth.

---- - - -- <> -- - - -----

Beast 3:
Che Guerrilla
Nature: Gorilla
Size: 6'5" (Tall)
Weight: 600 lbs
Has received training in explosives, sabotage, laying traps, firearms and hand to hand to hand to hand combat (he's an ape; four hands). Carries a rifle with bayonet. Hurls tear gas grenades. Driven by an ironclad ideology: he sees the catpitalist taint in everything, and will not stop until he has freed everyone on the planet from its shackles. Even if that means killing them.

---- - - -- <> -- - - -----

Beast 4:
Jynx De Lynx
Nature: Lynx, Nymph
Size: 5' 9"(Tall)
Weight: 180 lbs
Lynx-sprite goddess, can call on nature to do her bidding. Speaks to the grasses underfoot for insight on opponents. Ensnares and suffocates with roots from the ground. Fires bark shrapnel. Grows sleeping powder producing flowers from hands.

---- - - -- <> -- - - -----

Beast 5:
Flamingoliath
Nature: Flamingo
Size: 35' (Tall)
Weight: 6 Tons
An enormous bright pink flamingo. Can inflict massive damage with his heavy kicks. Extreme, neon pinkness causes disorientation and nausea. Carries over-sized, biblical weaponry (for show).

I see Sucker-Paunch swallowing Flamingoliath early and growing enormous himself. Might take him some time to ingest such a big meal though.

I love seeing every new set of drawings! A great treat, Bo.

Flamingoliath is 35 freaking feet TALL. The only one who stands a chance against him is Che. Height doesn't help much against bullets. So I'm going to bank on the "extreme pinkness causing disorientation" to delay Che long enough to get stomped on.

Two words: Oozing mucus.

That is all.

It's a known fact that gorilla's are colour blind, though. Like dogs. And even if it he wasn't... pink is just red that couldn't be bothered, or, to be it agnother way, not socialist enough, ergo he must die.

Che all the way. That rhymes, and you know it does.

I gotta go with de Lynx, if only because she can take her enemies out before they can get to her

Gotta point out, Flamingoliath is the only one here that can fly besides the mantis, he could swoop down, snatch one of the others, then drop them from terrific heights.

That, on top of his size, almost won my vote. However, if Sphynx gets him asleep, or if Sucker Paunch's tongue tangles him up, that size and flight could be his downfall

--EDIT--
Pun not intended, happy coincidence

Can't outfly bullets. And that's not even getting to the heat seeking missiles any self-respecting simian revolutionary packs.

Except Sucker-Paunch, who is impossible to grab thanks to his OOZING MUCUS! Thankyouverymuch.

I had oozing mucus the last time I had the flu. Its offensive capabilities are overrated.

But it does make one slippery.

Flamingoliath has legs like tree trunks. Which is NBD to Slaying Mantises with claws that snap trunks without a second thought. Or Guerillas that climb trees and bayonet eyeballs. And frog-leeches that can leap and grapple with their tongues. Or sleeping powder flowers spreading their spores to the wind. Suffice to say: timber!

Or he stomps em all. Barracade was last week - everyone in heat 12 is thoroughly squishable.

I don't see a true favorite - it's a healthy mix.

But these are MOVING tree trunks. Don't forget flapping 'o wings. The wind from those things would be tornado-like.

We could also say for something that size to have enough lift to get off the ground its bones would almost certainly have to be hollow. Wouldn't take much of a blow to breakn 'em.

I found a National Geographic News article that says gorillas have trichromatic vision, like humans.

http://news.nationalgeographic.com/news ... ision.html

I'm gonna trust National Geographic mostly because I want Che to be susceptible to the great and terrible Flamingoliath!!

Yeah, I made that up. Still doesn't change that ol' Hollow Bones can't dodge bullets. He's a flamingo, not Neo.

Ah yes, but in Soviet Russia, bullets dodge you. And everyone knows Che's weaponry was supplied by those damn red's.
But seriously, Che's aim will no doubt be dazzled by Flamingoliath's florescent feathers.
