Well, if the poll would let me change my vote, I'm switching the D'ed. Magic incantations take time. Anybody who's ever played D&D or some such knows this to be true. What's the way to prevent a mage from casting? Hit him! D'ed could do this, even if he wasn't light-speed. Horses are pretty quick. With light speed (even fraction of light speed), there is no chance for Necromander.

But what about Barricade? Super friendly old-timey horse that likes to run really fast vs a voracious insatiable steel plated barracudillo that looms over it twice as big? pshhhhh

If I'm not mistaken, time stops at light speed as mass becomes infinite. Mr. D'Ed doesn't actually need to hit his opponents, just let his gravitational horizon unzip them from their bodies, one molecule at a time, feet first.

I like Necromanders odds, but Barricade is fast! He can dodge the spells and then take the damn lizard out. If an incantation manages to get to him, his body surface will simply deflect the spell and then he will go in for the kill!

That means that the necromander will disintegrate due to a lack of time to conjure and that Barricade will emerges unscathed and victorious

They neglected to reference the effect of the baseball on spells, probably because the velocity and mass of spells is missing from much of the published physics reference data. Tell me how in hell we're supposed to arrive at a scientifically intelligent discussion with so many holes in the MBDM universe?

I like Nextomander. I was in a similar vain with the ones I brainstormed, Necromaster, Necromanster, Necromassacre and Salamaster. None are exactly perfect though. It's tricky business.

In the new sketch he is starting to look like a gila monster, if that counts for anything.

Warlock, lich, macabre, carrion, and amphibian were other words to perhaps work in.
