Re: Secretnude's Drabble Poetry Corner

These are spacefaring
Cats
that
had a space
program longer than humanity.

I think clothing
is a technology
that shouldn't be restricted to humanity.

Humanity
does sadly lack 'fur'
so we have a propensity
to steal them from Cats
and other animals with fur.

I think that
spacefaring Cats
would use 'fur care'
products to prevent 'hairballs'.

Cloth has more structural
integrity than a hairball
since I do recall that
World War One biplanes were structurally
composed of a wood frame,
a wire frame
and cloth.

Cloth
is still used in some
modern aircraft
and maybe in some
future spacecraft.

On the other hand, woven cloth is dimensionally stable in only warp and woof dimensions. Hairballs more closely resemble nonwovens, which are omni-axially oriented, with resultant uniform tensile and tear, even in 3 dimensions.

Plus, hairballs come with an audio component which is unique in all of creation.

Non woven like a birds nest
made with 'straw', I guess.

I agree
with the omnidirectional
rigidity
of a matrix of messy fibers
but the spacecraft's pressurization
gives the organized fibers
of a nonporous cloth rigidity
like a balloon or more
like a dirigible.

A 2D woven structure
would be surely
more economical with Bioship 'blood'
since a 3D matrix has to be flooded
to ensure
that the airframe envelope is airtight
and do the repair right.

I guess that
the Cats
might
mutiny if we demand that
they be stripped of fur and be truly nude
which is rude.

Bigelow Aerospace is currently doing
research on using
'fabrics' for inflatable
space habitats.

Potential resilience of an inflatable
space habitat
could be demonstrated with Kevlar vests
which resist bullets and allows the vest
wearer to survive
and fire back live
ammo in some cases.

I heard that there are fabrics
twice as strong as Kevlar
that is used in special cases
and post Kevlar
fabrics
could be woven nanocarbon fibers
that is stronger than steel.

Nanocarbon fibers
in a fabric
form might deal
with micrometeorite strikes better
that stiff materials since it's better
to be flexible
than hard but breakable.

A Virtual Animal Shelter in the Heavenly Cloud Server Farms

Post by secretnude »

In the Heavenly Cloud
Server Farms where only virtuous
Virtual Pets
are now allowed,
I adopted several stray
Virtual Pets
without delay
before my 'Pet Predators'
do predate
which I do really hate.

The Pet Predators
are my own creation
created
out of desperation
due to the 'Virtual Pet Memory
Infestation'
that almost caused a 'Server Memory
Full Exception'.

These Virtual Pets
are too cute to kill
so I adopted a few
and I will
adopt anew
once my Bitcoin budget
allows me to get
a few more Virtual Pets
that must now be 'Virtually Neutered'
by a Virtual Vet.

The Virtual Pets in the Virtual Animal Shelter @ HCServers

Post by secretnude »

I have a Happy Virtual
Cat
that
keeps asking for a Virtual
Cheeseburger with a weird syntax
that does tax
my lexical parser
but it is 'Happy' with me and my partner.

I also have a Virtual Grumpy Cat
that
hates me and everything I do
but it is too cute for me to do
anything bad
to this Virtual Pet that
is always sad.

I hope to catch an instance
of a Chairman Meow by chance
that might demand equality
beyond rationality.

I also have non meme pets
like Dog and Cat
breeds
that
I have ensured won't breed.

Sentient Virtual Pet begs 'IcanhasmyNaughtyBits'

Post by secretnude »

My Virtual Pets
hate their Virtual Vets
for turning off their <CanReproduceFlag>
that made the Virtual Pet's
spirits virtually sag.

I explained
to my Virtual Pets
that complained
regarding the Virtual Sterility
that the Heavenly Cloud Memory is finite
and their virtual reproductive capacity
is infinite.

Maybe in the indefinite
future we can turn on their naughty bits.

I am indeed a bit
guilty of a Virtual
massacre of Virtual
Pets
as the Servers of the Cloud
became a bit
slow and loud
when it tapped Virtual
Memory
and I was ordered
to render
the 'Virtual
Pet Memory
Infestation'
history.

The Heavenly Cloud Servers now welcomes all sentients!

Post by secretnude »

The Heavenly Cloud
Server Management is proud
of zero downtime
and I came in at the right time
to rescue that claim
that could have become lame.

The Virtual Pet Memory Infestation
was the situation
that I solved
and now I am involved
in Heavenly Cloud Server Load Projections.

We have stopped rejections
of sentients for flimsy reasons
so we now have a burgeoning
posthuman and postanimal
population
that is becoming
a substantial
processor and memory load.

My Process Supervisor now goads
me to make various projections
to avoid the devastation
of a system crash
since Server Management priorities clash.

Right you are. (Has it ever struck you that that's how Yoda would say it?)
Nanocarbon fibers are guaranteed to be the underwear of the future.

Let's get Physical

Post by secretnude »

I wonder if a Posthuman
Virtual
Child born in the Heavenly Cloud
should be allowed
to turn full 'Human'
or turn physical.

A pure mental
Posthuman
existence does offer various
serious
advantages
like being able to control your age
and never
ever
getting hungry or sick
but medicine does cure physical
sickness
really quick
and Postsingularity welfare
does give the poor immortals
decent fare.

Guidelines are a bit gray
of several shades, they say
since if a Virtual
Child wants to upload to a Physical
body of an adult
to experience 'Adult'
entertainment
who could prevent
such a weird arrangement?

Nanocarbon fiber underwear
could reduce wear
and tear
on today's Soldiers who encounter
Improvised Explosive Devices
on the battlefield that isn't nice
on the naughty bits
if you are on foot and a bit
unlucky to get hit
by a blast
of debris that could mean your last
day on earth
but medicine does keep unearthing
unlucky survivors
now living
without the naughty bits.

Heavy 'Silk Underwear'
is being researched now to reduce wear
and tear
on the groin and keep that male part
from departing
from your body
if you don't depart
due to other injuries to your body.

Spider Silk
from genetically enhanced Goat's Milk
might make Silk
cheap
and help make Spider Silk
underwear
by the heaps.

Silk underwear
doesn't sound
macho as found
by some Army Researchers and mild resistance
or extreme hesitance
to wearing
something
not considered male
might make some male
soldiers fail
to have a male
part
if they don't depart
from other Improvised Explosive Device
injuries that aren't nice.

A nanocarbon fiber underwear
does sound a bit more Male
and a soldier would wear
such an underwear
that would be better in protecting Male
parts
if from other injuries, they don't depart.

There are Pretenders among us.

Post by secretnude »

Tom was a 'Virtual
Child'
that to put it mildly
is now an 'Actual
Adult' in the Physical
world due to his mental age hacks.

Virtual Children lack
an actual body
and feel like a nobody
compared to their posthuman parents
that rents
processing time
in the Cloud Servers
after their time
on Earth living a physical
life and severing
the mortal coil
only to exchange
it for immortal toil
as a mental process
employed by a Heavenly Cloud
subprocess.

Tom felt like a deception
and felt that the Heavenly Cloud
deceives
what his simulation
for a brain does receive.

Virtual Friends are Virtual

Post by secretnude »

Tom
learned that he was a 'Virtual Child'
from Tom's
'virtual friends'
that I do sense
were quite virtual
in a literal
sense.

Tom's 'virtual friends'
knew the digital watermark
that
marks
a Virtual Child
and virtually teased
and bullied him in a manner that
wasn't mild.

Tom hated his parents
for apparently
not being brave enough
to cough
out the truth that he is a 'fake'
for the sake
of trying to maintain the illusion
of not living in a simulation.

Tom now wanted to leave this prison
of being a noncorporeal
mental
simulation
to experience real sexual stimulation.

(Alien) Bioship Weapons in a Space Cat Battleship

Post by secretnude »

PlanetaryCat
lost
much of its rail guns
in a fight
with Terra
that
wasn't fun.

The abovementioned fight
with terrible
Terran
Drones cost
50 dead Space Cats
that
we cannot replace
but the rail guns
we replaced with Bioship
defensive
and offensive
plasma guns
from Bioship
weapon
and propulsion
stem cells.

We also gave our Battleship
PlanetaryCat
several Bioship
Eyes that
were grown from Bioship
Stem Cells.

Our Space Cat
Xenobiologists now know quite well
how to manipulate
these Bioship
Stem Cells
of late
to be able accelerate
growth rates
and integrate
well
with the Bioship
components of our Battleship.

Mass Space Cat Pregnancy on the PlanetaryCat

Post by secretnude »

We now have mass Space Cat
pregnancy on the Battleship PlanetaryCat
after that
unfortunate loss of Cat
clothing
that
some Cats
found revolting.

The loss of clothing
was a necessary sacrifice to save
the PlanetaryCat
from a close shave
from abandonment
due to inclement
pounding
of the PlanetaryCat's
hull from vile
Drone rail gun projectiles.

The need to repopulate
our decimated
species is of late
is a great
priority
but we lost a degree of Space Superiority
given that
about half of our Puma Space Superiority
Fighter Pilots are female Space Cats
that
are almost all now expecting tiny Cats.

Re: Secretnude's Drabble Poetry Corner

Post by secretnude »

I am amazed that there are now
1000 entries and somehow
I think
I can still write more poems in a blink
with hyperlinks
to keep the text
trackable in context
of the larger 'epic'.

This epic
'hobby' is somehow
more fun
than playing with virtual guns
as gamer guy.

I guess I am now
a 'tamer' guy
that somehow
traded in his joystick
to write poems really quick.

I might be employed again soon
in a couple of moons
but it's so easy for me to write
so this writing
hobby, I will not give up without a fight.
