Missing: Context. Clear subject.

Mr. bell was last seen April 19th.
The twitfic thread stats are not applicable.
No post of Mr. bell's appears to be unduly "Missing", AFAICT, either.

Good folks come and go. It's devilishly hard getting rid of the rest of us, though.

Mr. Bell could have been Matthew Zeno. When you disappear from the forums for an extended period, like zZzacha did last year, this is the type of thing the rest of us suspect may have happened to you.

Not all of us are as hard-hearted and indifferent to loss as some of us. The Bell tolls for us, my friend, and no man is an island.

See?
Do we need to start a 501(c)3 and put these folks' avatars on milk cartons?
Calling Sally Strothers.

Outrageous! You pretend to care for Mr. bell (he used a small "b", honor his choice!), but then you do him grievous insult.

Mr. bell would not perish in such a "Darwinian" manner! No. I imagine some kind of "accident" with particle accelerators and genetically enhanced alpacas, etc.

As for 501 (any subclause) tax status, forget it. "Drabble" sounds too close to "Rabble" and "Rebel". Our application won't get disapproved, exactly. We'll just have to continually exchange thousands of documents for 3+ years, with no result. That is, unless you can get one of Obama's brothers to front the organization.

Before there were particle accelerators, subways were accelerating particles.

I'm hard-hearted?! Those are people (and railway cars), not "particles"! My child rides the subway, okay? How dare you liken her to less than a spec of dust!

So if we ring the bell, will he come?

That's closer to the truth. Mr. bell, like ASiD, is made of (ringing) wavicles. Ain't no measly particles here!

But if strawman wants to think of himself as animated specs of dirt, I won't object. ;)

If you have no particles, how can you be so particular?

Zing!

Remember man, that dust thou art.

Or dust thy art, those statuettes collect it like crazy.

So, um... yeah. I'm back. Kinda.

Has it really been 7 years?

Had to be. Time enough for SFWA full membership (and service on one of its committees) with over 50 assorted publications. LOLDOC.NET has a listing. A. Bell is actually Anatoly Belilovsky, as well as a pseudonym I hide behind when writing... stuff.

Also, being a plague doctor. (Sometimes I put an MD after my name.)

Looking back on it, this is where I learned to write. When I figured out why "Picky" worked where many other stories didn't, that was the first step toward pro credits.

Thanks, fellow Earthlings!
