Is it just me or doe ss free roaming planet seem like the perfect place for ore-stripping aliens to live?

The article said that they detected 10 Jupiter sized objects within 10 AU. Saturn is 9 AU from the sun so with a little rounding they found 10 Jupiter sized objects within the equivalent of the orbit of Saturn? Interesting. Perhaps a start that didn't form right?

That must be a typo. You can't have objects that close to the sun with "no parent star."
