Love all these covers - it's a true joy to be the first eyes upon the work our wonderful core of volunteer artists creates on a weekly basis. Selecting just 10 to nominate from the half billion eligible was painful. I'm sure the rest of you will have my omissions covered.
I of course nominate none of my own work - there is an embarrassing amount (I went DARP crazy, don't hold it against me). And I didn't double up on any single artist.

The Darp entries makes this a fiendishly difficult assignment. (Maybe you should award a separate "DARP-award.")

I genuinely thought about it - the copious entries does make selection very taxing. But with the high percentage of Bo in the DARP category, it'd give the impression of me angling {it's all about me, isn't it?}. Which isn't to say I'm the high water mark for DARP (Doyle's Dagon and Deberge's I-81 rock hard), just that I have numbers. Also, two art categories strikes me as redundant. You'll have to make due with the overflow.

All covers appearing above are from this last year. The DARP was an effort starting in July 2011 to provide covers for our first 133 episodes, which were released before the practice began.

#2, "Longing for Love", Bo Kaier has to make the list! That's about the best unicorn pic I've ever seen.
Then we also have:
#226, B-Sides 15, #211, #207, #123, #115, #95, #49, #11

I feel like a cheater in the other categories... I need to do more listening so I have a well rounded vote.
But at least for the art I can tell you right off the bat:
#1 PICK - #77 - Bo Kaier - Permanent Detention (it's the eyes!!)
in no discernible order for the other 9 (minus the obvious numerical)
#6 - Matt Schindler - The Frog Prince
#11 - Bo Kaier - Black and White Animals Part 1
#19 - Mary Mattice - Srendi Vashtar
#22 - Rodolfo Arrendondo - Black and White Animals Part 2
#68 - Bo Kaier - The Wiggly People
#115 - Bo Kaier - Clown Eggs
#211 - Michael Hoskins - At The End of the Hall
#214 - David Flett - The Wish of the Demon Achtromagk
#221 - Rick Green - Year of the Rabbit
If I haven't already read them, these are the covers that have lured me in, to put on my to-do list.
