Kudos for trying to pioneer new ground but, alas, it does not compute.

Worse, that was a quintuple foul!

1. Improper binary grammar. Should be "00110100 00110010 00100000 01110100 01101000 01100101 00100000 01100001 01101110 01110011 01110111 01100101 01110010" at the very least.
2. Improper English grammar and syntax.
3. Missing punctuation.
4. Mangled quote.
5. That was 104 chars, not 101, and not 100.

The closest you could probably get with that subject would probably be: "01000001 01101110 01110011 01110111 01100101 01110010 00100000 01101001 01110011 00100000 00110100 00110010 00101110"

As for the 100 char bit, that is impossible. Nominally the binary would have to be a multiple of 8, unless you used a more obscure coding. The nearest 2 multiples are 96 and 104.

You might say that leading zeros can be lopped off, but the alphabet starts at 01000001, giving only 1 leading-zero that is droppable. So it would still be 103 chars.

And yes, I seem to have miscounted the characters, oh well...also, I used a translator, so I claim no accountability for any binary syntax...

Just plausible enough to qualify as potentially intentional.
However, you need the character to supply a missing comma following fading.

I hemmed and hawed over whether that comma was necessary.

Beware the straw-comma argument! The previous version was fine, and the comma was not strictly required.

To me, the twabble seemed like a fanfic of some story I hadn't read -- a little "inside baseball" perhaps. But, I'm older than dirt; perhaps all kids these days have Zooey Deschanel merchandise?
