To me, the twabble seemed like a fanfic of some story I hadn't read -- a little "inside baseball" perhaps. But, I'm older than dirt; perhaps all kids these days have Zooey Deschanel merchandise?
I know who quirky Zooey Deschanel is....and I didn't get it either :(

They SAY their motto is, "Don't be evil," but they leave off the second half which is, "We'll be evil enough for all of us."

Meg's new E-chastity belt was fun until the matching RFID key on Tom's Prince Albert shorted out. The Honeymoon was off.

I ride on thermals and live on updrafts, falling only to pluck my prey until the coming dawn forces me to follow the night.

I don't know what that is. It just popped into my head and I was surprised to see it was 100 characters. Score.
Let me through, I'm a colour therapist!

Aviation nerd alert: Thermals and updrafts only occur during the day... Well, except, maybe, unless there's volcanoes or thermonuclear detonations aplenty...

I can't see the good in an invisibility ray

You put your left hand in.
You pull a bloody stump out.
As I start to grin
you run screaming all about.

Some awesome short, short stories in here. I really liked the baseball one.

He hefted the club, filled with God's power and beat her to within an inch of her life. A zombie she remained. One inch shy.

Halloween parties at ASID's house are a real scream. Who will ever forget bobbing for apples in the food processor? Or the insane laugh when you offered your bag and first asked, "Trick or Treat?"

Zombies are really nothing but overly persistent people.
They just need to be called 'zombies' to justify our desire to blow their heads off.

Hey Dad! When I grow up, I’m going to be Batman! I’ll have a cape and fight crime and it’ll be so cool! Too bad he’s an orphan.

Hmmm, I like this one, but I feel like the last like could be more "I'm gonna kill you now." The malicious intent isn't quite clear to me.

The delayed reaction "Oh, I get it" is what makes this perfect, imo.

Yes, I got the positive and friendly right off the bat.

Your original comment just got me ruminating on my own days writing drabbles, trying to perfect that atom-bomb twist and the resulting mushroom cloud of meaning rising over the landscape, that defines some of the better drabbles out there.

That's crazy talk! Rhyming, alliteration, meter, and multiple meanings define the better drabbles and twabbles! (But, big boobs, car chases, and righteous swordplay don't hurt.)
