It was exactly one hundred years since the very first Lethal Chamber had opened in New York City’s Washington Square Park, all the way back in 1920.
Over the decades close to twenty million citizens had taken advantage of the tens of thousands of Chambers scattered across the Imperial Dynasty of America, and legally ended their lives.
In fact, suicide had become the third most common cause of death in the nation behind heart disease and malignant tumors, beating out the likes of cerebrovascular disease and chronic lower respiratory illness, to find a well deserved place on the mortality podium.
